What's included
A tip run with us is the whole job, not just the drive. Every tip run price includes:
- Two of us on every job.
- All the loading. Shed, garage, under the house — we carry it out and pack the trailer.
- Tip fees included. The gate fee at Ballina, Lismore, Myocum or wherever the load goes is built into your price. No surprise on the day.
- Sorted and recycled. We pull metal, e-waste and green waste out as we pack. It's how the tip charges us less, and it's how we keep your price down.
- Sweep-up. Sixty seconds with the broom before we leave.

Ranges, not guesses: the exact number is built on site in front of you. Add $30 beyond ~25 km from Ballina; Byron-side loads run 10–15% higher for gate fees.
How it works
- Call or text to book a free on-site quote. We come out, walk the pile with you, and build the price line by line in the quoting app while you watch. The price is the price — you see it before anything is touched.
- You get a booking in writing. A two-hour arrival window by SMS, with our names, so you know who's turning up.
- We turn up. A text when we're twenty minutes out, then two of us in the NRT shirts with a clean trailer. We do all the lifting.
- We sort as we load. Metal, e-waste and green waste separated on the trailer. Anything with life left in it goes to Vinnies or Lifeline instead of landfill, and we text you the donation receipt.
- We sweep up and go. Before-and-after photos texted to you, and the tip docket is kept on file so you've got proof it was disposed of properly.
What we won't take
- Asbestos. Fibro sheeting, old eaves, some vinyl floor tiles, anything you suspect. We can't carry it, and neither can the household tips. We'll point you to a licensed removalist.
- Chemicals, fuel, paint and gas bottles in bulk. Household quantities go free to the Community Recycling Centre at the Ballina or Lismore tip — we'll tell you where.
- Needles, sharps, medical waste, dead animals.
- Dense loads — soil, concrete, bricks, tiles, wet green waste, reno rubble. We do take these, but a trailer of bricks weighs four times a trailer of furniture, so they're priced by weight on site the same way as everything else, not by the trailer fraction.

Are you the "man with a ute" from the Facebook groups?
Same job, better kit. Every "man with a ute Northern Rivers" post gets thirty answers and no prices — we're two blokes with a 6x4 trailer, published prices, insurance, and the dump run done the same day. Junk removal, hard rubbish, single items: if it fits on a trailer, it's what we do.
How much does a tip run cost in the Northern Rivers?
A single item like a couch or washing machine is from $140, a quarter trailer is $180, a half is $240 and a full heaped trailer is $330–380. That includes both of us, all loading, the tip fee and the sweep-up. The exact number is built on site in front of you before we start, and it's the number you pay.
How soon can you do a dump run?
We work weekends, Saturday and Sunday, and we book by area so we're not driving back and forth. Call or text and we'll give you the next slot in your part of the region. The load is gone the day we come — it doesn't sit on the trailer.
Which tip does my rubbish go to?
The closest one to you that takes the load. Ballina-side jobs go to the Ballina Resource Recovery Centre, Lismore jobs to Wyrallah Road, Byron Shire jobs to Myocum. Green waste and metal get sorted to the cheaper stream at each tip.
Can I use my council tip voucher?
Not on our load — vouchers are issued to the household and presented at the weighbridge, so they normally can't be transferred to us. If you've got a voucher and a trailer, use it: that's the cheapest run there is. If you haven't got the trailer or the time, that's us, and the gate fee is already inside our price. Ballina Shire doesn't issue vouchers at all.
