What's included
Holiday rental rubbish removal is its own problem. The red bin is full by Tuesday, the council won't do a bulky pickup (Byron, Ballina and Lismore have none), and the cleaner's got ninety minutes before the next guest. Every holiday rental rubbish removal price includes:
- Two of us. Quick in, quick out, between bookings.
- All loading. Broken furniture, dead barbecues, sagging outdoor lounges, the stuff guests leave in the garage.
- Bin overflow. Excess bagged rubbish and recycling that won't wait for the next collection.
- Tip fees included. One number per visit.
- Sorted and recycled. Glass, cardboard and metal pulled out, e-waste separated.
- Tidy-up. Outdoor areas swept, bin area hosed if it needs it.
Single item from $140, quarter trailer $180, half $240, full heaped trailer $330–380. Byron Shire jobs carry a 10–15% loading because of the Myocum gate fee.

Ranges, not guesses: the exact number is built on site in front of you. Add $30 beyond ~25 km from Ballina; Byron-side loads run 10–15% higher for gate fees.
How it works
- Call or text to book a free on-site quote. For a one-off, we come out and price it in the quoting app in front of you or your cleaner. The price is the price. For managers with several properties, we do one walkthrough and agree standing rates.
- Booking by SMS. A two-hour window that fits the changeover, and our names.
- On the day. Text twenty minutes out. We can work around the cleaner or use a lockbox code.
- Clear and sort. Recyclables out, usable items to Vinnies or Lifeline with the receipt texted.
- Tidy, photos, docket. Before-and-after photos texted to whoever manages the place, tip docket on file.
What we won't take
- Asbestos — older beach shacks in Brunswick, New Brighton and Lennox can have fibro. Refused, and we'll tell you who to call.
- Chemicals, pool chemicals, gas bottles, fuel. Free at the Community Recycling Centre; not on our trailer.
- Needles and sharps.
- Commercial-scale waste — if the property is a multi-unit complex with bulk bins, that's a commercial contract, not us.
- Renovation rubble and soil. Taken, priced by weight on site.

How much does rubbish removal cost for a holiday rental in Byron Bay?
From $140 for a single item and $180–380 by trailer fraction, plus 10–15% on the Byron side because the Myocum gate fee is the highest in the region. Mattresses are +$70 and fridges +$60 per item. Everything — both of us, loading, tip fees, tidy-up — is inside the number. Property managers with multiple properties get agreed standing rates.
Can you fit in between check-out and check-in?
Usually, if you book ahead. We work weekends, which is when most changeovers happen, and we book by area — a Saturday run through Byron, Suffolk and Lennox picks up several properties in one loop. Tell us the check-in time and we'll slot before it.
Do you take guest leftovers — food, bottles, the lot?
Yes. Bagged food waste, bottles, cans and cardboard all go. Bottles and cans get pulled out for Return and Earn. If the fridge is full, tell us when you book.
Can I use my Byron Shire waste vouchers?
If the property is in Byron Shire, the owner gets two $50 waste vouchers a year on the rates notice, and they cover furniture, mattresses, whitegoods and mixed household waste at Myocum. Hand them to us and the gate fee comes off your price. Tenants and managers need the owner-signed form — ask us and we'll tell you what to bring.
