Privacy

Northern Rivers Tipping is a small business based in Ballina NSW. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Short version: we collect what we need to quote and do the job, we don't sell it, and we don't run ad trackers.

What we collect

When you call, text or email us we collect your name, phone number, the address of the job, and what you tell us about it. When we quote and do the job we add the itemised quote, before-and-after photos of the job site, the tip docket, and any donation receipt.

How we use it

To come out and quote, book the job, and text you the arrival window and updates.
To send you the quote, photos, docket and receipt for the job.
To ask you for a review after the job, once.
To let you know, months later, if we're back in your area — one text, and you can reply STOP.

Before-and-after photos stay private unless you tell us we can share them. If you say yes, we'll use them without your name, address or anything identifying the house.

Who sees it

Us. The only people who see your details are the two of us who do the job. We don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone for marketing. Job records are kept on the phone and in our quoting app; tip dockets are kept as a legal record of where the load went.

This website

There's no login, no account, and no cookies from us. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is a privacy-first, cookieless beacon that counts page views without identifying you or following you across sites. Tapping "Call" or "Text" opens your phone's own dialler or messages app — nothing is sent to us until you do.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or text 0493 656 813 and we'll sort it. If you're not happy with how we've handled something, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
